The Net

It’s inevitable. The very moment you start to write a blog post, your self-confidence and assurance will go out the window. It can’t be truer than that. All that influence you have? Your years of experience? It won’t matter. That was how I felt years back when I just started blogging online, be it on a personal basis or for business purposes. There is something magical in how something published on the internet gets heard immediately from another side of the globe. There is also something about those awful and plain-looking blogs that have the ability to turn people into mumbling zombies. the possibilities definitely lie within!

I’m pretty sure most of you know that video is the way of the future. More and more blogs are featuring videos and I’m seeing an even bigger trend towards video in sales pages. The Magic Bullet System 2.0 launch that Amish did last week featured just a video and order button. There was no sales copy. How well did the video sales page do? Amish generated $1.1 million in the first 24 hours and $3.2 million by the time he closed the doors a week later. That’s pretty amazing stuff.

One of the most common complaint (or excuse) I hear from potential new bloggers is they don’t know how to install WordPress. Terms like FTP and CPanel are like a foreign language and setting up a database might as well be setting up the space shuttle for a launch.

Because of the technology barrier, many would be bloggers never start their blogs. If you’re in this situation, then you’ll be happy to know about my new free WordPress installation service.

It’s really simple. I will install and set up a WordPress blog for you at no cost to you. Not only that, I will also install for free the following plugins to get your blog started on the right foot:

“Put your wallet away!”

Immediately, this statement goes completely against what many online have led you to believe.

This story is well known and goes a little something like this:

I had a chance to swing by the offices of Hootsiuite today and have coffee with its head owl, Ryan Holmes.

My friend Amish Shah has just released a new video detailing a case study where he showed how he made an extra $14,435.75 in just one hour. And that’s just the first case study. Case Study number two is called “Ten TIMES More Opt-Ins”, and based on the title, you should have a good idea on what it’s about.

Establishing trust between you and your readership is critical to your blogging success. Without trust, there is very little chance of your blog ever making it big. When your readers trust you, they will recommend you to their friends and they will be more incline to buy a product or service recommended by you. Here are seven ways to gain the trust of your readers.

Everyone loves stats so I figure I would post some stats from my blog.

This is a follow up to my post on how to make 2011 your best year in blogging. As many of you may know, I am not big on New Year resolutions. I am big on goal setting and feel it’s one of the keys to success. However, most people go about goal setting the wrong way and as a result, most fail to achieve their goals.
