Ausfürhlich wird dabei auf frühe theoretische feministische Beiträge zur Hausarbeit, Bevölkerungspolitik und weiblichen Sexualität eingegangen. Im Hauptteil ordnet Ursula G. T. Müller Frauenpolitik und queer-feministische Theorie in neoliberale Entwicklung ein: Frauenpolitik stützt teilweise den Neoliberalismus, der Dekonstruktivismus bietet keine Richtung. In der Linken herrscht vielfach Ignoranz feministischer Positionen; Forderungen nach Geschlechtsneutralität erzeugen eine Schieflage. Dem stellt die Autorin Utopien und konkrete Schritte gegenüber, die vor allem den Reproduktionsbereich konsequent einbeziehen. Dies und eine andere politische Kultur seien anzustreben und nicht Quoten, die nur das Bild verändern.
