This translation is the results of an in depth collaboration among theatre director and playwright, Andy Hinds (author of Acting Shakespeare’s Language), and Classics pupil, Dr. Martine Cuypers (Trinity collage Dublin).
Whilst conserving a scholarly constancy to the unique Greek, the interpretation is written in a transparent and lively verse, designed to be as ‘performable’ within the theatre, because it is ‘readable’ in the house or research. it will likely be of equivalent curiosity and use, for that reason, to lecturers, scholars and lecturers, to actors and administrators, and to the final reader.
