Zentrale Fragen sind hierbei: ‚Wie sehen die allgemeinen Vorstellungen über das Geschlecht in der jeweiligen Zeit aus?‘, ‚Wodurch unter-scheiden sich weibliches und männliches Geschlecht?‘ und ‚Welche antiken Vorstellungen haben auch heute noch bestand?‘
